As our wind farm projects continue to rapidly progress further through their development phases, we will increasingly engage with large Commercial and Industrial customers to understand how their energy needs can best be met via green energy from our generation portfolio of wind farms and on-site battery energy storage systems (BESS).
By supplying energy via appropriately designed and priced power purchase agreements (PPA’s) we will enable major customers to meet their unique future energy requirements in a commercial manner. Importantly, the PPAs will be underpinned by green energy from our wind farms thereby helping our customers to achieve their ESG and low Carbon emissions goals.
In general terms a PPA is a contract between a buyer (electricity off-take customer) and an electricity seller (such as a developer or power producer). The team at Green Wind Renewables and our partner Aula Energy (a new portfolio company created by Macquarie Asset Management) have extensive expertise and experience working with customers to develop PPAs that can best meet their energy needs.
The team at Green Wind Renewables and Aula Energy look forward to engaging with and working with potential customers in the near future.
